Win little championships with the Blow Football game!

One of the top therapeutic Blow Football games for young and old. The puff ball activity is a truly breath-taking skill and endurance game. The football board game may seem easy. Yet, once you start puffing, using the drinking straws, this is where the fun begins! One would very often require deep breaths to get the ball into the opponent’s goalposts.

The game set is manufactured from stable and long-lasting plywood material. Two included straws are a starter set. For hygienic reasons, please ensure every player gets a fresh straw. It is a portable game, light in weight and quite entertaining during a trip.

A word of caution. It is a game of skill for everyone. Remember to take short breaks. Do not over exercise with breathing games, as it may lead to fainting. For children, the play time lasts about 10 mins on average. In case a player experiences shortness of breath or has other underlying breathing conditions, please consult with a healthcare practitioner.

How do you play blow football?

Place the Blow Football game onto a table. Install the net gates. Place the ball in the middle of the pitch. Only one hand holds a straw. Both players count to 3 out loud. Players move the ball only by air blown through straws. When the ball gets through the goalposts, consider it a goal! The game is over, once one of the players reaches 10 goals.

Number of players from 2 to 8 players. There are 14 straw holders. Hence, theoretically it could reach up to 3-5 players per team. The question is how each side will strategically place own players? 😃

To increase difficulty, try a heavier version of the ball. For example, with a crumpled ball made of thicker paper or foil.

Alternative playing rules for the straw blowing game

Why not try an alternative system by taking turns? A coin toss decides who begins the game. Each player blows only once per turn. The opponent’s goalposts are not protected. Only indirect blow shots are allowed, from the side walls. The first one to score 10 goals is the winner!
