Dominoes are a fun, easy and low-prep activity as a part of early childhood education.

Reap the benefits of the Sensory Domino:

1. During the introductory phase, occasionally ask the child to close his or her eyes (better using a blindfold) and touch 1 type of engravings among the domino tiles. Then let the child touch another type, still with the eyes closed. Ask to describe and memorise the difference between the two. Let the child open the eyes and see how two different engravings feel against each other.
2. Gradually, over time, explore all 7 engravings, by randomly mixing them all in a pile.
3. As the final challenge, with the blindfold on, encourage the child to build a linear sequence of all the dominoes. Where the end of one domino will have the same engraving as the next connecting domino.
