Rules of the Regatta game, how to play the 2-player game:

Setting up the field.
Two players choose the colour for their fleet. One fleet consists of one ship of 2, two ships of 3, one ship of 4 and one ship of 5. Each player hides each opponent’s 5 ships on their lower side of the board. The ships must be placed without touching each other horizontally or vertically. In other words, they must not be adjacent to the edges of a ship. Now think of your regatta battleship strategy and your opponent’s fleet in a smart way!

Strategy of the regatta’s battle game.
The aim of the game is to set all the sails of your own fleet in order to win the regatta competition. To do this, the players alternate between coordinates where they think their own ship is potentially located. If you find a place where your ship is placed, a white sale is hoisted and you can guess again. If you call out a wrong coordinate, mark it as “water” with a blue fountain. Continue taking turns until the first fleet has equipped all its ships with sails. As for the markings: mark your own water and sails on the vertical upper grid to keep track. The first player to hoist all sails of own fleet wins the game.
